We just got back from Scout Summer camp. Here is a picture of Dead Eye Andrew shooting a 22. He does pretty well. I also am a member of the "dime club." which is when you can shoot a series of 10 shots at 50 ft.and get them all in a grouping that can be covered by a dime. Andrew also got a chance to shoot a black powder musket. And I got to break a bunch of clay pigeons with a shotgun. We had a lot of fun at the shooting range.
Andrew took 4 merit badges: space exploration, pioneering, environmental science and wilderness survival. He had to spend the night in the woods without a sleeping bag or a tent, just whatever shelter he could build. He also did the high cope course which is 30-50 ft up in the tree canopy. Climbing around like a little monkey. That doesn't surprise me since as a three year old he climbed to the top of Grandma Pete's fireplace.
Hope you all are having a wonderful, fun filled summer as we are.
Love you all
Lori
