Hi, all! We just got back this week from helping Brandon move from a condo in Anchorage to his own house (and the bank's) in Wasilla, about 45 miles away. The house has the typical kitchen, living room, dining room, along with 2 regular bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft bedroom, a mudroom with a sauna, a large garage/workshop, a deck (with a hot tub) on top of the garage, and 1.2 acre. He is having a fence installed this weekend to create a safe enclosure for Maynard, his Boxer dog. He's got to install two doggie doors, too.

I absolutely ADORE your log house, Brandon. It reminds me of the one I wanted in Lakeside. When I leave here, that is about what I want--and Hottub on the garage--how neat!! Of course you know that bears climb. Mine is on the second story, yet a bear took a bite of the hot tub cover.
